Every Restaurant Manager base package includes a customer database that stores the basic information you need to get to know your patrons – information that managers and servers can access instantly from the POS station to help them tailor service to a customer’s preferences. And when you supplement this database with the Customer Loyalty module, you can encourage and reward customers as their spending grows. Offer a free margarita on every tenth visit, give a 10% discount to customers who pay to join your membership program, even send out a special birthday offer – there really is no limit to the special promotions you can implement. You can track customers by dollar amount spent, menu items purchased, points earned or number of visits. Reward loyal customers with discounts, coupons, free menu items or specialty gifts like T-shirts or mugs, etc. Patrons can even be enrolled in multiple programs at once if you wish.

Keep customers engaged in your programs by printing current points and discounts on each check. And you can filter your customer list on any criteria to generate mailing labels for specific promotions.

GIFT CARDS
Sales of gift certificates and gift cards can have a significant impact on a restaurant’s bottom line. (Redemption rates on gift certificates are sometimes as low as 60%!) And attractive gift cards often boost name recognition, too. Selling gift certificates is a terrific way to increase sales and do a little “self-promotion.”

The Accounts module makes it easy to manage all aspects of running a successful gift certificate or gift card program. It makes selling a gift card as easy as selling a drink. And automatically takes care of everything from tracking account numbers to processing the gift cards or certificates when they’re redeemed.

With Restaurant Manager Gift Cards and Accounts it’s easy to create different types of certificates, set expiration dates and define exceptions and limitations. And, best of all, the ASI Accounts module reports all gift certificate “sales” and redemptions in a format that is easy for you to understand and yet still makes sense to your accountant (who is always telling you that a gift certificate doesn’t represent a sale until it’s redeemed!).

Gift Card Management for Multiple Locations
The Accounts module offers an ideal store-based gift card processing solution. For multi-store businesses, ASI offers an interface to Givex. The Givex application is a real-time gift card and loyalty management solution that works via the Internet to unite transaction processing and franchise reconciliation. Givex provides real-time tracking and reporting along with IVR (interactive voice response) for backup support.

For chain restaurants, ASI and Givex together offer a streamlined and integrated solution for improving customer loyalty and gift card fulfillment efficiency.

CUSTOMER ACCOUNTS
The Accounts module also works well for clubs, universities, hospitals, and other institutions where your customers or staff are allowed to charge food and drinks to their account. The system conveniently tracks the customer, allowing their profile to follow them from the reservation to the assigned table, to the final bill on their account – with no need to present their card again.

You can control account balances with credit limits and expiration dates. And it’s easy to generate periodic account statements or invoices and easier still to process payments on the accounts. You can set system parameters to filter the accounts you wish to work with or use the “locate” feature to identify an account based on partial information. The customer’s name and address is printed on the invoice so it will show through the window of a standard #10 envelope. And, in the case of staff accounts, you may even deduct monthly charges directly from payroll. The Accounts module allows you to define the way accounts are numbered or otherwise identified. And, for new users, the module includes import capabilities that allow you to retain your previous numbering system and customer information.

The Restaurant Manager Accounts module can be configured in parallel with the Customer Loyalty module so that key customers are given special discounts. The Accounts module can also be interfaced to third-party club management packages.
